On Friday, June 3rd, our scholars of the St. Rose Hospital FACES program were honored and graduated in meeting their requirements of the program.
The event took place at Skywest Golf Course in Hayward. In attendance were family, friends, mentors and preceptors of the scholars.
The event opened with a welcoming speech given by the Program Coordinator, Andrew Cheng, followed by the program’s Executive Director, Michael Cobb. Speakers included Maia Peterson, the program’s intern, Rigoberto Mendoza, an alumni of the 2008 FACES cohort and Adrianna Montoya, Treyvonn Chadwick, Sonya Marquez and Daria Crouse, who are all a part of the scholars being honored. The event closed with a video address from FACES Program Founder and Director, Dr. Tomas Magana.
We would like to congratulate all of the FACES Health Scholars in graduating the program- not without hard work and commitment. We wish you the best of luck in your endeavors and we hope to see you make a splashing impact in the health field.
