Khai Dao, FACES Class of 2007, graduated from UC Berkeley in 2012 with a major in Integrative Biology, and is currently preparing for entry into medical school. Khai wishes to ultimately care for under-served communities in Oakland, similar to the one he grew up in. Since June 2013, Khai has volunteered as a Program Intern with the FACES for the Future Program at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, California. He has become an invaluable member of the program team, assisting with program operations, and more importantly, serving as a consistent mentor to our high school students. The fact that he has continued to pursue his dream of studying medicine has made him an ideal role model for youth currently enrolled in the FACES program.
