Kevineshia Island, Class of 2006

Kevineshia Island, FACES Oakland Class of 2006, is currently working to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration at the University of Phoenix.  Kevineshia works as a Supervisor in Administrative Services in the Department of Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente.

Kevineshia shares that FACES played an important role in “setting the foundation for my whole medical career” and feels that FACES provided her with the support and resources to complete high school and navigate her way through the myriad of health career options.

Kevineshia believes that the “sky is the limit” when choosing career options in health care and encourages FACES students to set the bar high and never give up on their goals.
