Juana Camacho, Class of 2005

945301_10151456769189531_558834139_nJuana Camacho, FACES Oakland Class of 2005, currently works as a Continuity Coordinator in women’s health at Tri-City Health Center, a federally qualified health center serving the health needs of communities in southern Alameda County. Before graduating from FACES, Juana obtained certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and in 2007, she obtained her Medical Assistant certification. Juana started employment at Tri-City as a MA in the teen clinic, which provided her opportunity to work with teenagers and provide education about reproductive health issues. Juana has also obtained certification in family planning and pregnancy counseling. All of this experience has provided her with additional motivation and training to pursue a future career as a Family Nurse Practitioner, her ultimate career goal
