ERICA KRINER
Erica Kriner is the AmeriCorps VISTA Development Associate. With a background in youth leadership and public service, Erica previously led a NASA-wide coalition representing over 6,000 interns and directed national programming during the pandemic. She has also worked in municipal grantmaking and built volunteer systems for community-based nonprofits. A summa cum laude graduate of Arizona State University with a background in Geography, Sustainability, and Anthropology, Erica is a Brooke Owens Fellow and Clinton Global Initiative University fellow, recognized for her commitment to equity, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration.
LAYLAH MUHAMMAD EL
Laylah Muhammad El is a mission-driven communicator with a background in digital media, community building, and nonprofit work. She has experience creating content, managing programs, and amplifying underrepresented voices. She brings a creative and people-centered approach to her storytelling. Laylah is passionate about connecting with communities, especially youth, utilizing narrative and design to show up with intention, empathy, and a desire to create spaces where people feel seen and heard. She’s excited to bring her skills and heart to the FACES of the Future Coalition as part of AmeriCorps
JADEN PIGGEE
My name is Jaden Piggee (pronounced “Pee-gay”) and I am elated to join FACES for the Future as an Americorps VISTA member. I’m a proud Milwaukee native (Go Bucks!) and a proud alumna of San Diego State University and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Since graduating in 2021 with a Bachelors in Public Health and Health Communication, I have led health education efforts as a peer wellness advocate for COVID-19 and opioid overdose awareness and prevention efforts. I also recently completed a premedical Postbaccalaureate Program in May and will be applying to medical school this cycle! As a future physician, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of healthcare leaders and finding ways we can continue to secure equitable healthcare access for all. Naturally, I was drawn to this role and I hope to make a positive and lasting impact strengthening and building capacity among the communities we support.
MATTHEW POMAJEVICH
Matthew Pomajevich has a background in public health, education equity, and software product coordination. He has worked across school districts and health departments to support underserved communities, particularly in overdose prevention, youth development, and wellness programming. Matthew brings experience in bridging quantitative data with community stories — using product design, evaluation tools, and qualitative research to inform programs that center lived experience. He holds a Master’s in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, and is currently a doctoral candidate there in Educational and Organizational Leadership. He is passionate about creating pathways for young people to become health leaders in their communities.

My name is Samar Robleh. I was born and raised in San Jose. I have a huge passion for public health and I got my degree in public health with a concentration in population data science back in Spring 2022. My interests include adolescent health, environmental health, and social epidemiology. In my free time, I love to watch tv shows, read lots of sci-fi books, and try new places to eat!
VINCENT GARCIA
HAYDEN HUTSON-WILEY
A San Francisco native, Hayden Hutson-Wiley is excited to give back to the city by supporting first-generation and underserved students. Hayden graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Human Biology and a minor in Women & Gender Studies. Her public-health experience spans epidemiologic research on diabetic kidney disease, clinical work as a CNA on a trauma unit, and coordination of gender-affirming care at UVA’s Teen Health Clinic. She has also contributed to translational oncology research at Ridgeline Discovery Engine in Switzerland and volunteered with community health organizations. Hayden brings to FACES passion for compassionate, equity-driven care.
KUBO VUE
A recent graduate of California State University, Chico with a degree in Public Health, Kubo Vue brings experience in community-based research, student support programs, and public health advocacy to FACES. He is passionate about creating healthier, more resilient communities and looks forward to contributing to lasting change.
CRISTINA ZAMBRANO
Cristina Zambrano was born and raised in Oakland, California, and is a recent UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Public Health. She has experience in harm reduction, health coaching, and community outreach, with a passion for advancing health equity. Cristina is excited to support youth programming while gaining skills for her future MPH studies in epidemiology and biostatistics. Outside of public health, she enjoys reading, going to concerts, and exploring new music as a dedicated music enthusiast.
