Introducing Alicia Wood, new program coordinator at FACES San Diego

“I was born and raised in Seattle, WA but came to California in 2003 to attend Chapman University. I majored in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work. After college, I started work at Braille Institute in Anaheim running the after school program for blind and visually impaired children. After moving around Orange County and Long Beach for several years, I transferred to Braille Institute in San Diego where I worked until 2016. In June 2016, I graduated from CSU Long Beach with my Master’s in Emergency Management. In June 2017 I started my career at Rady Children’s Hospital as the Student Services Coordinator for Hoover and Crawford High Schools.”
