Tutoring Opportunities

The FACES Academic program provides college students with the opportunities to tutor youth participating with the FACES Program. College students serve an extremely important role in helping these high school students to improve their study skills, complete homework and prepare for examinations. In doing so, college students help to optimize their chances for academic success and entry into the colleges of their choice. Tutors may work with students from the sophomore, junior or senior classes.

Academic credit is available to college students from U.C. Berkeley, and may be arranged for college students from other academic institutions.

If you would like more information about the Tutoring Program, please contact the FACES Academic and Career Coordinator, Tyrell Jackson at (510) 428-3885, x.2949 or Tyrell@facesforthefuture.org.

If you would like to volunteer with the FACES tutoring Program, please complete the application form (link) and return to the Academic Coordinator.
