Ensuring the well-being of children in our midst requires the attentive concern and care of adults in the community. FACES for the Future is supported entirely by foundation grants and corporate and private sponsorship. How your gift helps:

  • $1,000 to $2,000 helps cover a clinical clerkship stipend for one senior. 30 stipends needed annually.
  • $5,000 helps pay for a team-building activity such as a Ropes course or whitewater rafting
  • $650,000 covers the cost of the program for one year.

Tutoring Opportunities

The FACES Academic program provides college students with the opportunities to tutor youth participating with the FACES Program. College students serve an extremely important role in helping these high school students to improve their study skills, complete homework and prepare for examinations. In doing so, college students help to optimize their chances for academic success and entry into the colleges of their choice. Tutors may work with students from the sophomore, junior or senior classes.

If you would like more information about the Tutoring Program, please contact the FACES Academic and Career Coordinator, Tyrell Jackson at (510) 428-3885, x2949 or Tyrell@facesforthefuture.org.
