Natalie Barraza is the Program Coordinator for FACES for the Future Hayward. She is a Bay Area Native, born and raised in Oakland. She attended the University of California, Santa Cruz and completed a Bachelors in Sociology in 2017. She is a returning member of the FACES family, having interned with FACES for the Future Coalition through Health Career Connection in 2016.
Prior to becoming a FACES Program Coordinator, Natalie worked as an alcohol and drug Peer Health Educator for the Student Health Center at UC Santa Cruz. In addition to this, Natalie provided academic advising to underrepresented Latino youth in Watsonville. Through this position, she discovered her love of empowering youth toward achieving their academic and career goals. She is excited to work with the Hayward community and motivate their youth to succeed.
